Prosecutor's Office of Beshenkovichi District: Sent Criminal Case to Court Regarding Deliberate False Information in Official Documents

The Prosecutor's Office of Beshenkovichi District has sent a criminal case to court regarding the concealment of livestock deaths.
As established during the preliminary investigation, with the aim of concealing the death of cattle, a foreman of a dairy farm of an agricultural enterprise in the district, for criminal purposes, from January to May 2024, entered deliberately false information and records into official documents, thereby concealing the death of 18 head of cattle.
The motive of the accused was to create the appearance of a favorable economic situation in the farm, to avoid disciplinary and material liability, as well as other adverse consequences from management and society for numerous cases of cattle deaths.
After reviewing the materials of the criminal case, the Prosecutor's Office of Beshenkovichi District concluded that the charges were justified and the circumstances of the crime were objectively investigated.
They agreed with the qualification of the foreman's actions under Part 1 of Article 427 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The criminal case was handled by the Beshenkovichi District Department of the Investigative Committee.
When sending the case to court, the prosecutor maintained the previously chosen preventive measure against the accused – a recognizance not to leave and proper conduct.
