The Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office supported the state prosecution in court in a criminal case of official forgery against 4 officials of an agricultural enterprise.
During the judicial investigation, it was established that at one of the agricultural enterprises in the district, the chief livestock specialist, in preliminary conspiracy with the farm managers, entered knowingly false information into official documents (report on the movement of livestock and poultry) in order to conceal the death of 55 head of cattle and young animals.
The defendants motivated their actions by an unwillingness to show the real state of affairs at the farm, to reflect negative dynamics, in order to subsequently avoid being brought to material and disciplinary responsibility. Therefore, they decided to enter false information, knowing for certain the number of dead livestock.
Taking into account the evidence presented by the state prosecutor, the Beshenkovichi District Court issued a guilty verdict. Based on Part 1 of Article 427 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, the chief livestock specialist of the enterprise was sentenced to restriction of freedom without referral to an open-type correctional institution for a period of 2 years, and the farm managers were sentenced to a similar punishment for a period of 1 year and 2 months to 1 year and 6 months.
The verdict was not appealed or protested and entered into legal force.
