Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office Recognized as Best in the Region for 2021 Performance

At the collegium held at the Vitebsk Region Prosecutor's Office, the Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office was recognized as the best in the region based on its performance in 2021.

Igor Ukrainets, the Prosecutor of Vitebsk Region, presented a commemorative souvenir and a valuable gift to the prosecutor of our district, and Andrey Starchenko himself was placed on the Board of Honor of the Vitebsk Region Prosecutor's Office for his work.

Last year, the district prosecutor's office paid special attention to the work of prevention entities, including issues of preventing crimes and offenses by minors, preventing manifestations of corruption, promoting the realization of citizens' rights, and ensuring compliance with legislation in the agro-industrial complex.

In addition, with the participation of prosecutor's office employees, more than 120 court hearings were held (in criminal and civil cases), and more than 55 applications were filed with economic courts and courts of general jurisdiction. More than 50 acts of prosecutorial supervision were submitted, and more than 100 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility for violations committed.

Overall, the measures taken by the district prosecutor's office contributed to maintaining a stable crime situation in the region and ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and legal entities.
