The District Prosecutor's Office reminds of the need to observe basic safety rules in anticipation of the upcoming holidays and children's vacations.

Winter holidays are approaching – a time for children's rest, interesting activities, and new impressions. Your child will have more free time for adventures and childish fantasies, and you will have more worries and concerns for their safety.
To avoid unforeseen situations with children, we kindly ask you to take care of your children's safety. Remember that during this time, the risk of street and domestic injuries significantly increases, and thin ice on bodies of water is particularly dangerous during this period (there has already been one accident in the district involving a resident of our district, for whom his beloved hobby, winter fishing, ended in a fatal outcome).
If possible, do not leave children unsupervised. Also remember the danger of open fire and pyrotechnic products, of which a large number are currently sold.
Separately, we would like to note children's behavior on the global computer network, the Internet. Currently, a significant number of crimes are committed by ill-wishers using computer technologies and deceiving people; it is not uncommon for a child to be the object of a crime. Do not disclose your credit card details under any pretext; explain this to your child, and if necessary, contact the bank that issued the card directly. In addition, a number of groups have been created on various social networks to involve, including minors, in unauthorized events and actions. The safety of participants is not guaranteed or taken into account in these actions.
Parents, do not remain indifferent and pay attention to your children's hobbies.
Do not forget about your own safety, take care of yourself, observe the speed limit, take into account the weather conditions, and do not neglect the rules of conduct on the water during the winter period.
