The Mound of Eternal Glory in Beshenkovichi was laid by residents of the district on the 22nd anniversary of the liberation of the Beshenkovichi district from Nazi invaders. Soil was brought here from the graves of fallen soldiers from the fields near Moscow, where Hitler's troops were first defeated. The sacred soil of the city of Leningrad, the Brest Fortress, and military burial sites of the district formed the foundation of the Mound.
