The Prosecutor of Beshenkovichi District initiated 4 criminal cases regarding the entry of knowingly false information and records into official documents
The Prosecutor of Beshenkovichi District, based on the materials of pre-investigation checks conducted by the district internal affairs department, initiated 4 criminal cases regarding official forgery under Part 1 of Article 427 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
According to the materials of the criminal cases, the heads of production sites of agricultural enterprises in the district, knowing about the unproductive loss of a total of 8 horses on their farms, entered knowingly false information and records into official documents to conceal these facts.
The suspects' motives were to create the appearance of a favorable economic situation on the farm and to avoid disciplinary and material liability for shortcomings in their work regarding the preservation of the horse population.
The criminal cases have been sent to the territorial department of the Investigative Committee for investigation.
"Part 1 of Article 427 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus provides for punishment in the form of a fine, or deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, or correctional labor for up to two years, or restriction of liberty for the same period, or imprisonment for up to two years," explained District Prosecutor Sergey Antonovich Urbanovich.
