Currently, offenses and crimes against the order of economic activity, including in the procurement of goods (works, services), pose a particular threat to national security. The damage from such illegal acts can sometimes amount to tens and hundreds of thousands of rubles, which in turn negatively affects the pace of modernization of strategic sectors of the economy.
In addition, corruption has a destructive impact on the sustainable socio-economic development of the state and is a serious threat to its national security. The fight against corruption must be systemic and comprehensive, covering all segments of public life, primarily the sphere of public administration and the economy.
Supervisory measures carried out by the district prosecutor's office in 2023 and the elapsed period of 2024 established that the main areas of activity most susceptible to corruption risks are those involving the expenditure of budget funds, including in the procurement of goods (works, services).
Based on the results of the inspection of the implementation of anti-corruption legislation for the specified period, the district prosecutor's office submitted 5 representations to institutions and enterprises of the district on eliminating violations of anti-corruption legislation, issued 1 order, 8 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility for violations of the specified legislation, and 4 persons were brought to material responsibility.
