Employees of the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office took part in the republican campaign «Give the forest new life»
Employees of the Vitebsk region prosecutor's office traditionally took an active part in the republican campaign "Give the Forest New Life". The campaign was announced from October 11 to 31 and is dedicated to the Year of Improvement.
More than two dozen prosecutors, led by the Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region, Andrei Skurat, contributed to the restoration of the country's natural wealth in the territory of the Zadvinskoye forestry of the Beshenkovichi Leskhoz.
The head of the forestry enterprise, Nikolai Serebro, warmly welcomed the guests, expressing gratitude for their work and support in forest restoration. As the participants of the event repeatedly emphasized, this initiative serves as a reminder of the importance of environmental preservation for future generations. Each planted tree is a legacy that must be treated with care.
Vladimir Aglushevich, the forester of the Zadvinsky forestry of the Beshenkovichi forestry enterprise, shared stories from his daily work, detailing seedling planting technologies and forest care, and conducted the necessary briefing. Armed with Kolesov's planting tools and one-year-old pine seedlings, and following the example of Nikolai Serebro, who demonstrated how to properly use the equipment, they began their work.
"The forest is our national treasure, and we bear responsibility for its preservation and enhancement. Every seedling planted today is a contribution to the ecological well-being of our district, it is clean air for our children and grandchildren," noted the Prosecutor of Beshenkovichi District, Sergey Urbanovich. His colleagues, the Prosecutor of Ushachi District, Natalya Ovodneva, and the Prosecutor of Lepel District, Vitaly Zhigimont, are pleased with this wonderful tradition. They participate in the campaign annually and are happy to help their neighbors. After all, the forest is life, it is our future.
Growing it is not a quick task. Decades will pass before the saplings become trees, and future generations will appreciate them.
