Traditionally, on the eve of May 1st, the district Honor Board in Beshenkovichi was solemnly updated. It features portraits of the best of the best workers – individuals, enterprises, and organizations that achieved high results in their work in 2024 and made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the district.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, Galina Vladimirovna Unukovich, the Chairperson of the Beshenkovichi District Council of Deputies, Gennady Mikhailovich Shvedov, representatives of the deputy corps, labor collectives, public associations of the district, and youth.
The head of the district, Galina Unukovich, addressed the participants of the solemn ceremony with warm words of congratulations: "Years and generations change, but the person of labor was and remains a priority. Therefore, today I really want to express words of gratitude to all the people who, through their work, make the region more beautiful, more successful, and our lives more comfortable. The Honor Board includes the names of 20 residents of Beshenkovichi – representatives of various fields of activity. All of them are the true pride of our region, our Belarusian land, which preserves and passes down from generation to generation a unique code of talent and diligence."
Induction onto the district Honor Board is a public recognition of the significant contribution of enterprise collectives to the socio-economic development and growth of prosperity of the district, region, and country, which serves as a stimulating factor for achieving even higher results in the future.

For achieving high indicators based on the results of work for 2024, fulfilling assigned production targets, volumes of sold products, goods, works, and services, observing labor and performance discipline, occupational safety and health standards, the following have been recognized as winners and inscribed on the Honor Board of Beshenkovichi District:
— Scientific and Production Enterprise "Belkotlomash" Limited Liability Company.
The enterprise produces over 60 types of boilers and a full range of auxiliary boiler equipment. In 2024, the production target for import-substituted products was exceeded by 15%, revenue from product sales reached 106.4% of the previous year's level, and sales profitability was 11.4%. In 2024, the construction of a production workshop was completed, and the plant's new promising development was presented – a pellet boiler with the option of both mechanized and manual fuel loading. "Belkotlomash" is among the 7 enterprises in the country recognized as winners of the National Competition "Entrepreneur of the Year – 2024" in the nomination "Effective Business in the Manufacturing Sector".
— Limited Liability Company "Sushchev-Agro".
The farm has a total agricultural land area of almost 6 thousand hectares, of which over 3.5 thousand are cultivated arable land. For two consecutive years, "Sushevo-Agro" has held the first place in the district for milk production. The gross milk yield in 2024 amounted to approximately 58 thousand centners of extra grade, a 200 percent increase compared to the previous year. The farm demonstrates high performance in livestock breeding – in 2024, almost 48 thousand tons of cattle products were produced, and 30 thousand tons of feed were prepared.
— Beshenkovichi district of gas supply of the branch "Chashniki Production Department" of the production republican unitary enterprise "Vitebskoblgaz".
In 2024, the gas supply district fulfilled its main task – uninterrupted, accident-free gas supply to the district's consumers. In 2024, work continued on improving the condition of operated facilities, on fulfilling the plan for technical re-equipment and improving the quality of gas supply systems service. The indicator for natural gas sales was fulfilled at 100.3% of the plan, and for liquefied gas – at 100.2%. 23 households were gasified, and 12 apartments were converted from liquefied to natural gas, exceeding the plan of 8. The material and technical base of the enterprise has been significantly improved. The investment volume amounted to over 5 million rubles.
— Central Pharmacy No. 21 of Beshenkovichi District, second category, of the Vitebsk Trade and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise "Pharmatsiya".
The "Pharmatsiya" network unites 7 pharmacies in our district. In 2024, the volume of sales of goods and services amounted to 3.29 million rubles, with a growth rate of 118.5% compared to last year. Profit from sales was almost 17 thousand rubles, with a sales profitability of 0.5%. Last year, about one million rubles were spent on the modernization of the building and the renewal of equipment – now the Central Pharmacy meets all the latest requirements for both visitor reception and staff operations.
— Beshenkovichi Electric Communication Unit of the Vitebsk Zonal Telecommunication Node of the Vitebsk Branch of the Republican Unitary Enterprise of Telecommunication "Beltelecom".
Significant work has been carried out in 2024 to develop and modernize telecommunication networks. All streets of the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi have been covered by fiber-optic lines, and a "Gpon" network has been built in the agro-town of Ostrovno. The length of fiber-optic lines is over 450 kilometers. The total number of telephone subscribers is 7080, of which 6687 are connected using IMS technology. The number of subscribers to ZALA interactive television is 5952, and to byfly high-speed internet is 5234. 682 Video Control service cameras have been installed for legal entities and individuals.

In 2024, students and ensembles of the school participated in online and offline festivals and competitions, winning 64 diplomas: 44 in international, 7 in republican, 13 in regional, and 3 in district competitions. In 2024, 28 graduates completed the school; 4 students (14%) were admitted to secondary vocational art institutions. Based on the results of work in 2024, the Beshenkovichi Children's Art School became a laureate of the regional award for best achievements in culture and art in the nomination "Best Children's Art School".
