The district quiz "Women's Names on the Map of Belarus" brought together six regional teams to test their knowledge of history, logic, and intuition
The event is dedicated to the Year of Belarusian Women. It was held as part of the republican youth and student marathon.
Teams from Beshenkovichi Forestry, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Territorial Center for Social Services, the District Executive Committee, the Center for Ensuring the Activities of Budgetary Organizations, and the Department of Education of the District Executive Committee competed for the title of the smartest.
The intellectual battle consisted of several challenging rounds. Players had to separate fact from fiction concerning famous Belarusian women, find non-obvious connections, combine historical knowledge with modern media technologies, and much more.
The quiz was won by the team representing the District Executive Committee.
"This is not just a quiz, but a real intellectual journey through the history and present of our country," noted Yulia Polozova, First Secretary of the District Committee of the Belarusian Youth Union (the District Committee itself was the organizer of the event). - "Women's Names on the Map of Belarus" is an opportunity to remember and rediscover the names of women who changed the course of history, developed science, culture, sports, education, and inspire us today."
