Recommendations for the installation of fences for household plots

   The use of budget funds for the repair and installation of fences for household plots provided to citizens, individual entrepreneurs, and legal entities for the construction and maintenance of single-family and townhouses is not provided for by regulatory and legal acts. 

   In accordance with the requirements of the legislation, the owner of the land plot carries out measures for tidying up, improving, and maintaining the land plot, buildings, and structures located on the plot, at their own expense. 

   Based on the foregoing, we recommend that you take measures to install fences for your land plot at your own expense. For the manufacture of fences, we recommend using metal sheeting or metal picket fencing. Requirements for fencing are contained in section 6.3 of the building norms of the Republic of Belarus "Planning and Development of Settlements" SN 3.01.03-2020, approved by the resolution of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus dated November 27, 2020, No. 94. Fences of a household plot are installed along the geodetic boundary. On the street side, fences of a household plot must comply with the following requirements: height - no more than 2 m, degree of light transmission - from 0% to 100%. 

   We hereby inform you that fences in improper condition, installed at the expense of budget funds, will be dismantled.

   We strongly urge you to complete the fence installation work in 2023. In 2024, the festival-fair of rural workers "Dozhinki-2024" is planned to be held in Beshenkovichi. 

   When installing fences, please coordinate their color scheme with the Department of Architecture and Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the District Executive Committee.
