Republican Information and Educational Campaign «Belarus – Energy Efficient Country»

From November 8 to 11, 2022, the republican information and educational campaign "Belarus – Energy-Efficient Country" is being held under the motto "Moving Forward Together for a Better Future!". The event is timed to coincide with the International Day for Energy Saving, which is celebrated annually on November 11. The campaign is organized by the Department for Energy Efficiency of the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus.

The aim of the event is to raise public awareness of possible ways and methods to increase the efficiency of energy resource use, including in everyday life.

Round tables, training seminars (for specialists), open lessons and information hours, intellectual games, contests and quizzes (for children and youth), mini-contests (for social media followers), direct telephone lines to answer pressing questions from citizens and organizations, interviews, press tours to energy-efficient enterprises – these and other events organized by the Department and its territorial bodies are aimed at attracting attention to energy saving issues in the Republic of Belarus.
