Republican Charity Event "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" Held at Vitebsk Social Shelter "Na Dvine"
The event is held on the initiative of the country's President, and its main goal is to surround the elderly with care and attention during such bright holidays as New Year and Christmas.
Dmitry Demidov, Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Chairman of the regional public association "Belaya Rus", Alexander Brantsevich, member of the presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, General Director of UP "Vitebskoblgaz", Boris Efremov, Chairman of the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Regional Executive Committee, and Svetlana Medvedko, Chairman of the unified trade union organization of UP "Vitebskoblgaz", came to congratulate the residents of the "Na Dvine" boarding house.
– The "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" event is a wonderful tradition during which we can express words of gratitude to the older generation for your work, – noted Dmitry Demidov. – We understand that the life of any state, any people, is a continuous chain of generations, and, of course, it is our duty to always remember and be grateful to those who created, preserved, and developed the country before us. On behalf of all the guests present, Dmitry Demidov presented gift certificates to the "Na Dvine" social shelter, and also warmly congratulated the social protection workers on the past holiday.
