Along with the liberation of Minsk, our capital, from the Nazi invaders, it brought the Belarusian people faith in their own strength, preserving for centuries the heroism and courage of our compatriots who defended the honor and freedom of their native land, our peaceful happy life.
This holiday symbolizes the dignity and sovereignty of the Belarusian state, its national valor and glory, the continuity of generations, respect for national traditions and rich original culture. It embodies our unity and cohesion, ardent patriotism and devotion to the Motherland!
We all love Belarus! This feeling is in our deeds, in the results of our labor, in caring for children and parents, in the desire to make life around us better.
