From November 20 to 26, the campaign "Week of Prevention of Juvenile Crimes in the Sphere of Illicit Drug Trafficking" is being held in the Beshenkovichi district.

"Lately," emphasizes Yuri Kachanov, Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, "there has been an increase in crimes related to illicit drug trafficking involving minors in the Vitebsk region. One case of poisoning by a psychoactive substance by a teenager residing in the city of Vitebsk has been registered. Only a joint and comprehensive approach to this problem by all preventive entities can save not only one child's fate, but even their life."

As part of the campaign, thematic dialogue platforms, class and information hours are held in educational institutions with the participation of specialists. Round tables, sports and mass events, and other preventive measures aimed at fostering a law-abiding lifestyle among adolescents have been organized.
