From April 27, a ban on visiting forests has been introduced in the Beshenkovichi district
From April 27, a ban on citizens visiting forest areas has been introduced in the district. The corresponding decision was made by the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee in order to prevent emergencies in forests and peatlands.
During the ban period, all barriers at the entrances to forests from roads are closed, and signs informing about the ban on visiting forests and responsibility for its violation are installed everywhere. Motor vehicles are allowed to travel only on roads leading to settlements, as well as to civilian cemeteries.
Forestry workers are conducting daily patrols, duty on observation towers, and explanatory work with the population in the forests. Special raids are also carried out by the district inspection of natural resources and environmental protection, the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Department for Emergency Situations. Last weekend, for example, such inspections were carried out with the participation of A.V. Bronitsky, a representative of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, A.M. Rybakov, head of the district police department, and chairmen of rural executive committees. Thanks to the coordinated work of all interested services, it was possible to avoid the ignition of dry vegetation during these days.
We remind you that violation of the ban on visiting forests or fire safety requirements, which did not cause damage, may be punishable by a warning or a fine of up to 25 basic units (612.5 rubles). In case the violation caused the destruction or damage of the forest, the violator faces a fine from 25 to 50 basic units (1125 rubles).
