The 'Youth for Safety!' campaign starts on October 7th.

From October 7 to 18, a republican information and propaganda campaign (event) "Youth for Safety!" will be held throughout Belarus.

Its goal is to popularize the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers-Firefighters, the profession of a rescuer-firefighter, civil and patriotic education, fire prevention and the prevention of deaths from fires, promotion of a safe and healthy lifestyle, and to reveal the creative potential and unite young people – young rescuers – in a useful cause.

Within the framework of the information campaign, rescuers set themselves not one task, but the main ones are to increase the level of public awareness about the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers-Firefighters, its goals, objectives, directions, and, thereby, to attract youth to the ranks of young rescuers. In addition, the organizers are confident that familiarization with the movement can form a culture of life safety in adolescents.

The first week of the campaign will be held under the motto "112 good deeds". Young rescuers will visit the households of those who need help with firewood, cleaning the territory or harvesting, and installing autonomous fire alarms. The category of such people will include veterans of the Great Patriotic War, lonely pensioners and disabled people. The second week of the campaign will be dedicated to festive events – on October 14, the day of the formation of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers-Firefighters is celebrated.
