An expanded meeting of the Commission for Minors Affairs of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee was held with the participation of District Prosecutor Andrey Starchenko

An expanded meeting of the Commission for Minors Affairs was held in the large hall of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee with the participation of District Prosecutor Andrey Starchenko. The meeting was attended by heads and specialists of departments and divisions of the district executive committee, state bodies and organizations, and educational institutions of the district.
The agenda of the meeting included a comprehensive analysis of the causes and conditions contributing to neglect and juvenile delinquency, and the violation of their rights and legitimate interests in 2021.
The District Prosecutor drew the attention of those present to the causes and conditions contributing to the commission of crimes and offenses among young people, and shortcomings in the preventive work carried out (ensuring children's employment, proper organization of work).
For reference: in the Beshenkovichi district in 2021, the number of crimes committed by minors increased from 4 to 5, with a number of crimes committed by a group of children. The number of socially dangerous acts committed before the age of criminal responsibility remained at the level of 2020 (3 acts committed by 2 children).
Also, during the meeting, issues of juvenile injuries in one of the district's educational institutions and the implementation of preventive projects were considered.
