Its purpose is to remind drivers of the dangers of using mobile phones while driving and to emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic regulations for overall safety.

Senior Inspector of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Beshenkovichi District Department of Internal Affairs, Alexander Kazak, emphasizes: "Any distraction while driving, such as talking on the phone, can lead to tragedy. It is important to maintain full concentration on the road."

Why is it forbidden to use a phone while driving? Using a smartphone while driving increases the risk of an accident by four times.

Here are three reasons for this:

1. Distraction: even a brief glance at the screen can lead to missing important road signals.

2. Slowed reaction: the brain is busy processing information from the phone, which reduces the ability to react quickly to changes in the traffic situation.

3. Physical distraction: holding the phone with one hand impairs control over the vehicle.
