Security secret revealed!
Last December, the agro-town of Ulla in the Beshenkovichi district became known throughout the Republic due to a fire that claimed the lives of three people at once. To prevent similar situations and loss of life, and as part of the second stage of the republican campaign "Safety in Every Home!", rescuers met with visitors of the Ulla branch of the Beshenkovichi District Territorial Center for Social Services.
Thanks to the interactive game "Safety Secret," participants learned many safety aspects that most of us overlook in everyday life. For example, many knew that a charger left in the socket could cause a fire, but many charge their phones at night. Or that a smoke detector can emit short signals even when fully functional, which everyone should know.
Of course, the safe condition of a dwelling is the responsibility of homeowners; the rescuers' task is to prevent disaster and remind citizens that fires most often occur due to the notorious "human factor."
Additionally, the rector of the Holy Trinity Church addressed the visitors of the center with a parting word, also urging them to value their lives and take care of each other.
