Concealment of 30 Head of Cattle Deaths: Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office Initiates Criminal Case for Entering Deliberately False Information and Records into Official Documents
The Prosecutor of Beshenkovichi District, based on the materials of the pre-investigation check conducted by the district internal affairs department, initiated a criminal case for official forgery under Part 1 of Article 427 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
According to the criminal case materials, the chief zootechnician and the foreman of a farm belonging to an agricultural enterprise in the district, knowing about the unproductive loss of 30 head of cattle at the farm, and with the aim of concealing it, entered deliberately false information and records into official documents – animal weighing records and reports on the movement of livestock and poultry at the farm – during the period from April to September of the current year.
The criminal case has been sent to the territorial department of the Investigative Committee for investigation.
"Part 1 of Article 427 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus provides for punishment in the form of a fine, or deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, or correctional labor for up to two years, or restriction of liberty for the same period, or imprisonment for up to two years," explained Yegor Romanovich Chudakov, Assistant Prosecutor of Beshenkovichi District.
