Rally, quizzes, sports games. How the Day of Belarusian Student Detachments will be celebrated in the Vitebsk region
More than forty events dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Student Brigades will be held in the Vitebsk region. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of BRSM.
Student brigades of the northern region will be gathered in Polotsk today for the regional rally "Time Has Chosen Us". Under the same name, an open dialogue will be held here, where young people will discuss pressing issues. Experienced members will share details about student brigade life with schoolchildren, so that they too can get charged with the atmosphere of the movement and join it after entering university with a clear understanding. An integral part of many public association events are commemorative actions and projects. Rally participants will gather for a rally and lay flowers at the Monument to the Liberators of Polotsk. Later, they will be treated to an intellectual quiz-BSO and a team-building game. In addition, young people will visit the "Vesna-energo" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo" to learn about the enterprise's operations and join the "For Action!" labor campaign. The rally will conclude with a grand concert and a guided tour of the Museum of the History of Architecture of the St. Sophia Cathedral.
Thursday will be a busy day for young people throughout the Vitebsk region. Student brigade members from Vitebsk, Senno, and Postavy districts will participate in laser tag competitions. In the Gorodok and Rossony regions, the best will be determined at a sports festival, in Tolochnoye a youth show "Time of Opportunities" will be held, and in Glubokoye a quest game "Five Keys" will be launched.
Separate festive events are planned for August 2. At the "Magistral" health camp near Vitebsk, children will attend the city festival of student brigade creativity. Brigade members will do a folk exercise and pass GTO standards. Here, contests and interactive platforms will be organized for lovers of all kinds of activities.
Young people from the Orsha district will hold the Day of Belarusian Student Brigades on Friday at the "Lenok" children's health camp. And more than 70 participants – student brigade members from the Verkhnedvinsk district – will join a sports event at the local specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve.
"The student brigade movement is gaining popularity thanks to the attention and support from the head of state and the young people themselves. Young people embrace any initiative. And a big plus is that young people today are offering projects themselves and want to work. They come up with ideas to create festivals and events, not just to work at a machine tool in a factory, but to make their student brigade life
Zhanna Naritsyna noted that this is not the limit, as the Vitebsk region "always has autumn employment" when numerous agricultural detachments go to work in the fields and help farmers. The student detachment movement will definitely develop and grow, the First Secretary of the regional committee is confident. The BRSM plans to continue supporting the initiative, helping young people in any endeavors and ideas for the development of the Belarusian Student Detachments.
