Let's protect property together
Leaving home and closing the door behind them, everyone wants to be sure that their "fortress" will remain impregnable during their absence. However, this is not always the case... Apartment thieves, popularly known as "housebreakers," often upset law-abiding citizens with excessive attention to their property.
Thefts from apartments and houses mainly occur on weekdays – from 8 AM to 5 PM, when you are at work or at your dacha. Thefts from garages, in most cases, happen at night.
Criminals constantly improve their skills and methods of entering apartments. And often, doors and locks that were good ten or twenty years ago now do not stand up to any criticism. Unfortunately, neither metal doors, nor intercoms in entrances, nor the vigilance of neighbors, nor the loyalty of four-legged friends can provide reliable protection against "housebreakers."
To enter a dwelling, the thieving fraternity uses methods such as breaking down a door, breaking a window, prying open a PVC frame, entering through a transom or balcony (if the dwelling is on the 1st floor), picking a lock, or free access. Not so long ago, a new method of breaking in using a screwdriver became common, where a thief drills out the lock cylinder in a few seconds. Another "innovation" among the thieving fraternity is "climber" thieves. Using ropes, grappling hooks, and crowbars, criminals often enter apartments on the upper floors of multi-story residential buildings.
Anyone can fall into the sights of thieves. Looking at the general statistics of apartment thefts, it can be noted that women – housewives of houses and apartments – suffer the most. They are followed by pensioners, elderly people living alone, and WWII veterans. It would seem, what can attract a thief to the property of the elderly? It turns out that thieves look for what the elderly have accumulated over a long life, so to speak, for a rainy day...
In new buildings, where new residents are actively renovating apartments, so-called "five-minute thefts" occur. Criminals, having made sure of the absence of owners on several floors at once, break down doors and take construction tools, other things, and items.
And if someone still believes that they are protected from illegal encroachments by the criminal world, then they are mistaken. Today, unfortunately, our world is full of dangers, which are extremely difficult to resist alone. Only professionals can guarantee personal safety and property preservation in these conditions. It is important to note that these should be trained employees with modern communication tools, patrol cars, and modern and reliable security equipment systems.
There are many ways to enter someone else's house or apartment, but the best way to secure a house, apartment, garage, dacha, etc., than installing an alarm system, has not yet been invented.
The effectiveness of the alarm system is ensured by the security unit. The most significant proof of the reliability of this type of alarm is that cases where a "housebreaker" managed to escape before the police arrived are practically non-existent.
Currently, the financial factor undoubtedly remains decisive for the population. When protecting your property, you should remember that the financial costs of equipping an apartment, house, or other premises with security alarm systems will always be immeasurably lower than the damage that can be inflicted on the family budget as a result of theft (as a rule, recovering damages from a criminal takes a long time, sometimes even years).
It should be noted that thanks to new technologies, personal safety is becoming accessible to many. Today, specialists from the Security Department can install a panic button in your apartment so that, if necessary, you can quickly call a police rapid response unit. To protect yourself from attack when opening the front door of an apartment, or in case of unexpected intrusion by intruders into the apartment, you can use special key fobs with remote control panic buttons, which you can carry with you at all times.
For example, an elderly or minor family member lives in your house or apartment, whom you are forced to leave alone, even for a short time, due to circumstances. In view of this, this family member or your apartment may become an object of criminal encroachment. In this case, they do not need to grab the phone, remember the emergency number for the police, ambulance, or Ministry of Emergency Situations, explain the circumstances of the incident to the police officer on duty receiving the message, and wait for him to relay it to the patrols and for them to arrive at your place of residence. It is enough to press the panic button, and upon its call, an equipped, armed unit of the Security Department will arrive within 3-5 minutes and provide you with assistance.
