Compliance with Legislation During Mass Field Work Under Constant Control of Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office
The Beshenkovichi District Prosecutor's Office, in the course of its supervisory activities, conducted inspections of compliance with legislation on the disposal and preservation of property, labor protection, and ensuring labor and executive discipline during the 2022 spring field campaign.
The current difficult situation in the region's agro-industrial complex requires all heads of agricultural organizations to take effective practical measures aimed at economical use of material and technical resources and budget funds, proper organization of labor and executive discipline, and careful attitude to property.
In this regard, the period of laying the foundation for the future harvest must be approached with full responsibility, excluding instances of mismanagement, irrational use of material and financial resources, and ensuring safe working conditions.
The monitoring conducted by the district prosecutor's office on compliance with legislative requirements in the specified area revealed certain shortcomings and violations, expressed in the delay and unjustified increase in the deadlines for planned activities, as well as an improper attitude to the performance of official duties by individual employees of agro-industrial complex enterprises.
Thus, in particular, the inspection found that repair work to restore broken equipment that participated in field work in 2021, as well as the preparation of equipment for spring field work in a number of organizations, was not completed within the established timeframe. At the same time, significant funds were not required for the preparation of the specified equipment for state technical inspection (the equipment needed minor repairs, painting).
In addition, the inspection showed that on the territory of machine yards, repair shops, and fuel and lubricant warehouses of a number of agricultural organizations, there is no order in the storage and repair of agricultural machinery, units, the maintenance of the territory of these facilities, compliance with fire safety regulations, and safety rules.
The prosecutor's office of the district has taken response measures for all identified violations. Work in the specified area continues.
