Traffic police officers are once again strengthening control over the transportation of children in vehicles
From February 17 to 21, the State Automobile Inspectorate is holding a republican preventive campaign "If you love, drive safely".
The main goal of the campaign is to prevent and reduce the severity of consequences of road traffic accidents involving young passengers, and to promote the use of child restraint systems.
Inspectors will be on duty in the busiest sections of streets and roads near educational institutions, and will suppress violations of the rules for transporting, picking up, and dropping off minors.
We remind you that children must be transported in cars using restraint systems that correspond to their weight and height. Young passengers who have reached the age of 12, or whose height exceeds 150 centimeters, can be transported without a car seat or booster, but must be fastened with a seat belt.
