Children and Youth – the Future of Belarus

Youth is a strategic resource for the country's development, and all issues related to the lives of young people fall within the scope of national and state interests.

Youth policy in the Beshenkovichi district is implemented in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Fundamentals of State Youth Policy," and other legislative acts.

The objectives of the state youth policy are:

  • comprehensive upbringing of youth, promoting their spiritual, moral, professional, and physical development;
  • creating conditions for self-realization, free and effective participation of youth in the political, social, economic, and cultural development of society;
  • social, material, legal, and other support for youth;
  • expanding opportunities for youth in choosing their life path.

The main directions of the state youth policy are:

  • civic and patriotic education of youth;
  • promoting a healthy lifestyle for youth;
  • state support for young families;
  • assisting in the realization of the right of youth to work;
  • state support for youth in obtaining education;
  • state support for talented and gifted youth;
  • implementation of youth personnel policy;
  • assisting in the realization of the right of youth to association;
  • promoting the development and implementation of socially significant youth initiatives;
  • international youth cooperation.

State youth policy may also be implemented in other directions.
