Financial assistance from the Social Protection Fund

Provided in accordance with the Instruction on the procedure for providing financial assistance to needy elderly and disabled citizens from the funds of the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus dated August 3, 2001, No. 9 (as amended by Resolution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus dated December 29, 2007, No. 191).

Financial assistance from the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus is provided to needy citizens receiving pensions from the Department of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, including:

·       non-working pensioners who have reached the age entitling them to an old-age pension on general grounds;

·       disabled persons;

·       disabled children.

Financial assistance is provided in cases of:

ü damage to their health and (or) property as a result of natural disasters (fires, droughts, floods, and others), man-made disasters, theft of personal property;

ü other situations that objectively disrupt their normal life and are difficult to resolve independently, requiring prompt financial assistance.

The decision to provide financial assistance is made based on: 

·       an application;

·       an act of inspection of the material and living conditions;

·       documents confirming the applicant's need.

Important! Financial assistance is provided no more than once within a calendar year and is not provided to pensioners, disabled persons, disabled children who are on state support in stationary social service institutions.
