The main goal of the department's activity is to promote social adaptation and rehabilitation of citizens in difficult life situations.
Main areas of activity of the department:
Socio-psychological support for:
1. families whose children are recognized as being in a socially dangerous situation or in need of state protection;
2. persons released from places of deprivation of liberty, as well as homeless persons;
3. persons with substance dependence
Post-institutional support for orphans and children left without parental care aged 18 to 23, providing them with socio-psychological assistance, promoting the implementation of social protection guarantees in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus
The temporary shelter service in the "crisis" room is provided for victims of human trafficking, persons affected by domestic violence, natural and man-made emergencies, orphans and children left without parental care
Participation, within its competence, in activities for social patronage of citizens (families) in difficult life situations
Provision of psychological assistance (psychological diagnostics, individual and group counseling, training forms of work, psychological education and prevention)
Organization of interest clubs ("Parent University", "School of a Successful Parent", "Dad School")
Organization and conduct of mass cultural events (actions, competitions, contests)
Provision of gratuitous sponsorship in kind, foreign gratuitous assistance ("Mercy Salon"), assistance (donations) received from individuals to citizens (families) in difficult life situations.
The main areas of socio-psychological assistance include:- psychological counseling;
- psychological correction;
- psychological prevention;
- psychological education;
- psychological assistance using telecommunication means, taking into account the specifics of the institution.
