The activity of the home social assistance department is aimed at maximizing the stay of citizens in their familiar home environment and maintaining their social, psychological, and physical status.
To implement activities in this direction, the department carries out:
- identification and registration of incapacitated citizens and citizens with disabilities who need comprehensive social services;
- providing social and household services to citizens at home, depending on the degree of loss of mobility and self-care ability and the nature of the need for services, as well as providing other social services offered by the Center at their request;
- establishing and maintaining contacts with labor collectives where serviced citizens previously worked, as well as with other organizations regarding the provision of social support to citizens;
- assisting in organizing social and household services for citizens by trade, public catering, consumer services, and housing and communal services enterprises, healthcare institutions, notarial institutions, sponsoring enterprises, public organizations, etc.;
- training relatives of serviced citizens in practical skills of general care for the sick;
- introducing new forms of social services and developing comprehensive measures for organizing social services for incapacitated citizens and citizens with disabilities.
Services provided by the home social assistance department are provided in accordance with Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1218 of December 27, 2012, and the Instruction on the procedure and conditions for providing social services by state social service institutions, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus No. 11 of January 26, 2013.
Services provided by the home social assistance department are provided in accordance with:
- Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1218 of December 27, 2012
- Resolution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus No. 11 of January 26, 2013
Services provided by the home social assistance department:
- comprehensive social services at home
- hourly childcare services (nanny services)
- new forms of social services
As of April 1, 2025, 644 citizens receive comprehensive social services in the home social assistance department, 14 citizens use nursing services, and 3 families use nanny services.
5 citizens receive social services in the form of a foster family.
