For physical culture and sports activities in Beshenkovichi District, there is a stadium with 860 seats, 16 sports halls, 32 sports grounds, 35 adapted premises, 3 shooting ranges, 2 ice hockey boxes, and 11 sports cores. The total area of sports halls is 4691.0 sq. m, of which 2529.0 sq. m are in rural areas.

The coordination of all activities for the development of physical culture, health, and mass sports in Beshenkovichi District is carried out by the chief specialist of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Anatolyevich Petukhov. The main physical culture and sports facilities in Beshenkovichi District are: the "Dvina" physical culture and sports club, the Verkhovye physical culture and health complex, and the Beshenkovichi Children and Youth Sports School. These institutions implement state policy in matters of physical culture and sports development.

To intensify mass sports activities among the population, a number of comprehensive events are held annually: district mini-football championships, volleyball, chess, kettlebell lifting championships and cups, inter-district table tennis tournaments, sports events for people with disabilities, minors on various types of preventive registration, Beshenkovichi Ski Track, competitions dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, Victory Day, darts, arm wrestling, and powerlifting tournaments. Competitions for minors in table tennis, checkers, chess, volleyball, basketball, and football are also held annually. There is a sports equipment rental point for skates and skis.

The main goals and objectives of the "Dvina" physical culture and sports club are the organization and conduct of physical culture, health, and mass sports activities with the population.

At the sports club, classes are held in athletic gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, football, therapeutic physical culture for people with disabilities, and fitness aerobics. General physical training groups of the "Dvina" physical culture and sports club for various sports are open and operate in the agro-towns: Ostrovno, Rzhavka, Verkhovye, Bocheikovo, Ulla.

One of the important areas of work of the "Dvina" physical culture and sports club is the provision of paid services to the population:

  • rental of sports equipment and gear;
  • rental of sports halls, gyms;
  • fitness aerobics, table tennis, billiards;
  • sauna services.

According to Resolution No. 9 of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus dated April 26, 2025, "On the State Physical Culture and Health Complex of the Republic of Belarus 'Ready for Labor and Defense'," from May 18 to May 28, 2026, the state institution for physical culture and sports "Beshenkovichi Physical Culture and Sports Club 'Dvina'" will organize the passing of GTO standards at the address: Beshenkovichi, Sadovy Lane, 2a (city stadium).
