Rescuers on guard of safety: raid in Beshenkovichi district
Last weekend, a raid by rescuers was conducted in the Beshenkovichi district, covering the Ullsky and Bocheikovsky rural councils. This event was aimed at monitoring compliance with the introduced ban on visiting forest areas, as well as explaining the rules for safe handling of fire and tidying up household plots.
With the arrival of hot weather and arid climate conditions, the risk of forest fires increases, which is why rescuers are actively working to prevent such situations. During the raid, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations met with local residents, informing them about the rules of conduct in the forest, as well as the consequences that may arise from violating the ban.
Participants of the raid explained to citizens the importance of observing restrictions on forest access, sharing information about the risks associated with lighting fires in conditions of increased fire hazard. Rescuers also offered local residents a number of recommendations on how to safely organize open fires and what measures should be taken to protect their land plots from possible ignition.
Special attention was paid to tidying up household plots. Rescuers monitored the condition of the land and gave advice on clearing areas of dry leaves and debris, which can cause fires. Residents of the district willingly shared their approaches to improving their plots and actively engaged in dialogue about safety.
The raid was an important step in fostering a culture of safety among citizens. Rescuers not only monitored compliance with the rules but also tried to establish contact with the population, explaining the importance of observing precautionary measures.
