Matches are not a toy for children!
The issue of children playing with fire is always particularly acute. Its resolution requires joint, coordinated, and targeted actions of parents, educators, and teachers. The prevention of children playing with fire in the family usually boils down to banal prohibitions.
But forbidden fruit is sweet: children seek new vivid impressions, play with matches and flammable objects. This often ends in tragedy. Dear parents, educators, teachers! To avoid disaster, we must all strictly ensure that children do not handle matches. Do not allow children to use electric heating appliances.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations warns! If you have young children, under no circumstances leave them at home alone, especially if the stove is on, the TV or other electrical appliances are working. Do not set a bad example for children: do not smoke in front of them, do not throw cigarette butts carelessly, do not light paper to illuminate dark rooms.
Store matches in places
inaccessible to children. Under no circumstances should faulty or homemade electrical appliances be kept in the house. Only functional appliances that have a certificate of conformity with safety requirements and an integrated automatic disconnection device from the power source should be used. Remember – a small carelessness can lead to a big trouble.Tragic incidents clearly demonstrate that the main reason for children's deaths in fires lies in their inability to act in critical situations. During a fire, young children's subconscious instinct kicks in: a child tries to cling to something, to hide somewhere, seeking a false refuge – under a bed, a table, etc. That's where their tragedy strikes. Therefore, be sure to teach your child how to act in case of a fire and show them possible evacuation routes. It is very important to teach a child not to panic and not to hide in case of a fire. At home – parents, in kindergartens – educators, and in schools – teachers, all of us are obliged to ensure the strict adherence by children to fire safety rules, to strictly maintain the fire safety regime, and to immediately eliminate the causes that could lead to a tragedy. A sense of danger emanating from fire must be instilled in a child from early childhood. Adherence to safety rules should become a habit for everyone. Teach your child to immediately call rescuers at number 112 and go outside to a safe place in case of a fire.
