From April 11 to April 27, 2022, events to prevent fires and deaths from them in residential areas will be held in the Vitebsk region as part of the republican campaign "For Safety Together!".

The aim of the campaign is to reduce the number of fires caused by non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, settlements and territories, to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations to provide services in the field of fire safety, to strengthen law and order, and to prevent offenses committed by citizens while intoxicated. The campaign's activities are aimed at improving public safety, intensifying fire prevention work, analyzing its effectiveness, and assessing the readiness of territories and citizens' households for the spring-summer fire hazard period.

MCHS employees will visit lonely and single elderly citizens and disabled people, families with children in socially dangerous situations, and provide explanations and recommendations on improving fire safety in homes. Joint raids, information exchange, and meetings with labor collectives are planned during the campaign.
