Video bridges on the eve of Victory Day connected schools in Beshenkovichi District and Vurnarsky District of the Chuvash Republic
On the eve of Victory Day, May 6, an event of profound symbolic significance took place: video bridges, like bridges of memory and brotherhood, connected students from schools in Beshenkovichi District and Vurnarsky District of the Chuvash Republic.
These digital meetings, spanning hundreds of kilometers, became a living dialogue between generations united by a common history and shared gratitude.
Three schools in the district immediately contacted their Russian counterparts. Secondary School No. 1 of Beshenkovichi named after I.I. Strochko organized a teleconference with Vurnary Secondary School No. 1 named after I.N. Nikiforov, Secondary School No. 2 of Beshenkovichi named after M.N. Tkachenko – with Vurnary Secondary School No. 2. Bocheykovo Basic School named after M.A. Vysogorets – with Sanarposinskaya Secondary School of Vurnary District. Together with the young Bocheykovo students and their teachers, the virtual meeting with Sanarposinskaya schoolchildren was attended by the Chairperson of the District Executive Committee Galina Un"Our common, mutual aspiration for peace, harmony, and well-being is expressed, among other things, in our joint projects, our dreams, our plans, and our real actions to protect the territories of our states," emphasized Galina Unukovich. "I am confident that for the younger generation, this event will be significant and will become an important moment in the pursuit of preserving peace and well-being on our Earth. For those who remember history know what they are striving for."
The outcome of the significant meeting at the Bochaykovskaya Secondary School was the signing of a cooperation agreement between educational institutions. This document is not a formality, but a foundation for future systematic work. Plans include joint research projects on military history, regular virtual conferences, and an exchange of creative works. This is a treaty of friendship based on understanding and respect for our common past.
Once again, modern technologies have made it possible not only to hold an online meeting but also to ignite a spark of mutual understanding in the hearts of young people. The memory of the Great Victory, cleansed of dry statistics and filled with personal, human stories, becomes a powerful educational force.
