To ensure that the process is not limited to paper reports, specialists from the Beshenkovichi District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology are conducting control and supervisory measures. During site visits, they check how promptly and, most importantly, how effectively utility services and building owners are removing ice and snow.

Special attention during raids is paid to pedestrian areas, approaches to socially significant facilities, and yard territories. Specialists assess not only the fact of cleaning but also its quality: whether paths are treated with anti-icing agents, whether porches are cleared to the base, and so on.

Such visits are not only punitive but also preventive in nature. Direct dialogue with those responsible for this important work allows for resolving many emerging problems on the spot, without waiting for complaints from the public. In case of ignoring established sanitary norms or delaying cleaning deadlines, administrative measures are applied to the responsible persons.
"Monitoring of sanitary cleaning and improvement of territories of the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi and settlements of the district, production facilities of enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership is carried out daily, including on weekends," says Ksenia Skornyakova, assistant hygienist of the State Institution "Beshenkovichi District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology." "In January and February of this year alone, as part of the sanitary cleaning and improvement assessment plan, we inspected 307 facilities, and violations were detected in 224 cases. 85 letters were sent to the departments, 1 concerning disciplinary action. Administrative offense cases have been initiated and are being processed against 7 business entities.

These include the Beshcity service center of Private Unitary Enterprise of Trade and Production "Reum," the Groshyk store of the Vitebsk branch of Eurotorg LLC, the market in the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi of the Beshenkovichi branch of the Vitebsk Regional Consumer Society, production site No. 7 of the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi of SOOO "Belvest," Private Unitary Enterprise of Trade and Production "Tandipak," Municipal Unitary Enterprise of Housing and Communal Services "Beshenkovichi Kommunalnik," and the Prozapas store of the Vitebsk City Consumer Cooperative "Polotsk Market" of the regional consumer society.

At the Beshcity service center, for example, at the time of control and supervisory measures, current cleaning was not carried out as needed: the entrance group and the floors on the first floor were not kept clean. Timely cleaning of the territory, ramp, porch, and steps of the center from all types of snow, ice, and snow-ice formations was not carried out, with treatment with anti-icing agents permitted for use.

The entrance area and floors in the shopping halls of the "Groshyk" and "Prozapas" stores were also in an unsanitary condition. Current cleaning was not carried out. In "Groshyk", the territory, parking lots, ramp, porches, and steps of the store were not cleared of snow and ice in a timely manner, and surfaces were not treated with anti-icing agents. In the "Prozapas" store, in addition to the territory and porch, cleaning of ice formations was also required from the roof.

Only partial sanitary cleaning and clearing of territories from snow and ice at the time of the visit by sanitary service specialists was carried out at the market of the urban-type settlement of Beshenkovichi, production site No. 7 of "Belvest", ChPTUP "Tandipack"; all of the aforementioned did not carry out treatment with anti-icing agents. Icicles hung from the roofs of the buildings above the porches at the "Belvest" site and in "Tandipak".
The management company for housing and communal services "Beshenkovichi Kommunalnik" was notified of similar violations identified on the territories of several multi-apartment residential buildings in the district center, Ostrovno, Budilovo, Rzhavka, public transport stops, sidewalks, pedestrian paths, and pedestrian crossings in the district center.

!Specialists emphasize that the cleanliness and safety of territories are a common task requiring discipline from both state services and owners of private properties. Systematic monitoring allows us to keep the situation under control even during periods of heavy snowfall, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of all infrastructure and the safety of every resident of the district.
