CEREMONIAL EVENT DEDICATED TO THE 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
June 26 marks the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus!
Since its foundation and up to the present day, the Prosecutor's Office has traversed a glorious path of selfless service to law and justice. Through their activities, employees of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus ensure the unity and supremacy of law, protect human rights and freedoms, and the interests of society. They combat crime and corruption, ensuring the inevitability of punishment for criminal acts. Today, the prosecutor's offices of the Vitebsk region employ true professionals who conscientiously and honestly perform their duties.
The ceremonial event, held at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic on June 24, 2017, was attended by A.G. Poznyak, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region; G.I. Grebnev, First Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee; V.V. Terentyev, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies; G.I. Dysko, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus; heads of law enforcement agencies, government and administrative bodies, other state institutions and organizations, educational institutions, and enterprises.
Gennady Iosifovich Dysko, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, congratulated all employees of the Prosecutor's Office and veterans on their professional holiday, wishing them happiness, well-being, and good health for many years to come, and presented state awards to prosecutor's office employees.
The "For Impeccable Service" Medal, 2nd Class, was awarded to V.I. Guk, Deputy Prosecutor of the region, and E.A. Lapkovsky, Head of the Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Department; the "For Impeccable Service" Medal, 3rd Class, was awarded to Yu.Yu. Ambros, Deputy Head of the Preliminary Investigation Supervision Department, V.V. Rudenkov, Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the region for operational-investigative activity supervision, V.M. Vasiliev, Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Law Enforcement of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, A.M. Sashcheko, Senior Prosecutor of the Department for Supervision of Law Enforcement of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, Yu.S. Kezik, Prosecutor of the Braslav district, A.R. Kazakevich, Deputy Prosecutor of the Polotsk district, and A.G. Bagdasaryan, Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Vitebsk district.
A.V. Konyuk, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus, awarded the "Honored Worker of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus" badge to V.V. Sushchinsky, Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region, and P.V. Dedyuro, Orsha Transport Prosecutor. N.V. Fedorenko, Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of Law Enforcement of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for the Vitebsk region, received a Certificate of Honor from the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus. I.N. Bogachev, Head of the Organizational and Control Department, received a valuable gift. E.V. Babenkov, Prosecutor of the Chashniki district, and A.A. Starchenko, Deputy Prosecutor of the Dubrovno district, received commendations.
In his speech, Vadim Valentinovich Sushchinsky, Prosecutor of the Vitebsk region, thanked all employees of the prosecutor's office for their conscientious performance of official duties and expressed special gratitude to the veterans of the prosecutor's office for their difficult and dedicated work, and their constant readiness to help young employees master the complex craft of a prosecutor.

Lapkovsky, Head of the Department for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime, and V.I. Pashkovsky, Head of the Department for Supervision of the Legality of Criminal Sentence Execution. The breastplate of distinction of the KGB Directorate of the Republic of Belarus for Vitebsk Region "For Distinction" was awarded to A.V. Sidorovich, First Deputy Prosecutor of the Region. The Certificate of Honor of the KGB Directorate of the Republic of Belarus for Vitebsk Region was awarded to V.N. Belous, Senior Assistant Prosecutor of the Region for Supervision of State Security Legislation Enforcement. Gratitude was announced to I.N. Korzhov, Head of the Department for Supervision of Law Enforcement in the Armed Forces.
By order of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, gratitude was announced to Yu.V. Romanovsky, Prosecutor of Vitebsk. By order of the Head of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus for Vitebsk Region, the Certificate of the Directorate was awarded to: G.N. By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the jubilee medal "100 Years of Belarusian Police" and the breastplate "For Service" were awarded to V.V. Sushchinsky, Prosecutor of the Region. The jubilee medal "100 Years of Belarusian Police" was awarded to A.V. Sidorovich, First Deputy Prosecutor of the Region. The breastplate "For Contribution to Strengthening Law and Order" was awarded to G.A. Korenko, Deputy Prosecutor of the Region. The breastplate "For Assistance" was awarded to Yu.V. Romanovsky, Prosecutor of Vitebsk.
