UP "Vitebskoblgaz" Reminds: Gas Equipment Safety is in Your Hands!
Dear residents of the district, to avoid accidents when using gas-consuming equipment, we would like to remind you about the timely maintenance of gas-consuming equipment in everyday life.
Gas-consuming equipment must undergo periodic technical maintenance.
Technical maintenance of gas flow water heaters, gas heating equipment, and house pressure regulators is carried out once a year.
Technical maintenance of inlet and internal gas pipelines and gas-consuming equipment is carried out at least once every 10 years. At the same time, the technical condition of the individual gas consumption meter (if available) is checked.
Gas-consuming equipment that has exceeded its normal service life, as indicated in the manufacturer's passport, must undergo a set of works to determine its technical condition in order to determine the possibility of further operation or the need for its replacement.
We would also like to remind you about the responsibility for violating the Rules of Gas Use in Everyday Life. According to Art. 29 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Gas Supply," the gas supply organization has the right to stop gas supply to the gas consumer in case of violation of the Rules of Gas Use in Everyday Life.
