As noted earlier, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee will allocate funds for the creation of a public garden and a memorial sign "City of Labor Glory" in Orsha.

This is a tribute to our ancestors, whose selfless labor during the Great Patriotic War earned Orsha the honorary title of "City of Labor Glory."

Why is this important?
- The initiative to erect the stele has been supported at the highest level, as the title "City of Labor Glory" was awarded by a decision of the heads of state of the CIS.
What will the public garden be like?
- It is not just a monument, but a cozy public space where the whole family can gather. The centerpiece of the composition is a majestic stele "Orsha – City of Labor Glory. 1941–1945" with a height of 9 meters, installed on a circular podium. It will be visible from different points of the public garden.
- A space for reflection – in front of the stele, there will be a triangular square, an ideal place for commemorative events.
- Convenient infrastructure – four wide paths, like rays of glory, will converge towards the center of the public garden from its various corners.
- An oasis in the city center – on an area of 0.42 hectares, lawns, trees, and shrubs will be planted. It will be a modern, well-maintained recreation area that is pleasant to be in.
