In Belarus, the campaign "Safety - in every home" starts on January 23
The main reasons for emergencies in residential buildings continue to be careless handling of fire, violation of the rules for operating heating and electrical equipment, and children's pranks. Statistics show that more than half of incidents occur due to the fault of people who were unaware of or irresponsibly approached the fulfillment of fire safety rules. To once again draw residents' attention to this issue, as well as the problem of fatalities in fires, from January 23 to February 10, the campaign "Safety - in Every Home" will be held in the republic.
The campaign will be held in three stages. During the first stage, from January 23 to 27, the focus will be on individuals abusing alcohol and leading an antisocial lifestyle. The venues will include day care centers of drug treatment clinics, police support points, and safety centers. "A Sober Look at Safety" is the motto under which the efforts of EMERCOM propagandists, representatives of the Red Cross, the Department of Internal Affairs, clergy, BRSM, BDPO, EMERCOM veterans, and volunteers will be united in fire prevention.
During the second stage, from January 30 to February 7, the campaign organizers' attention will shift to elderly citizens with an active life position, residents of rural settlements, as well as students of universities, lyceums, and colleges. For the target audience of the golden age, the event "Skarbonka byaspeki" (Treasure Box of Safety) is planned, which will take place at rural cultural centers. Interactive platforms, games, and quests will be organized. The older generation will also not be overlooked at territorial social service centers. Rescuersprepared a number of interesting thematic events, including interactive games "Field of Miracles with the Ministry of Emergency Situations", "Name the Price", "Security Secret" and a disco "For those over...".
The Ministry of Emergency Situations propagandists will also prepare a lot of interesting things for the youth. Students and final-year students will take part in the talk show "Dialogue", where they will try to find solutions to existing problems in the field of life safety. There will also be the game "Where is the logic?", in which it is necessary to connect words encrypted on slides with the rules of safe behavior, and "Brain Ring", where participants will answer questions about safety rules within a minute. In the game-competition "MChS Detective Agency", the children will complete a series of tasks related to safety issues.
The final third stage of the campaign will take place from February 8 to 10. Traditionally, the Ministry of Emergency Situations propagandists will set up interactive platforms in places of mass gathering of people: shopping centers, outdoor areas, taking into account compliance with epidemiological norms.
During the campaign, opportunities for online work through social networks and messengers will also be used. Online classes, lectures, targeted distribution of brochures and correspondence, telephone communication in the format "Rescuers on the line..." for people with limited contact, and much more. The most active participants of the campaign will receive gifts from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including API.
