The Resolution introduces amendments and additions to the Regulations on the Maintenance and Improvement of Burial Sites, approved by Resolution No. 17 of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services dated June 10, 2016. These changes clarify the scope of individuals to whom these regulations apply and provide regulatory guidance on the management of vegetation within burial sites.

These Regulations apply to specialized organizations, other legal entities regardless of their subordination and ownership forms, individual entrepreneurs who provide or participate in providing services related to funeral organization, as well as to individuals engaged in independent professional activities related to the maintenance and improvement of burial sites.

Clarifications have also been made regarding vegetation subject to removal. To make decisions on the removal of such vegetation, settlement and rural executive committees, specialized organizations, and special regional authorities will conduct surveys of these vegetation objects. The types and timelines for pruning trees and shrubs are defined.
The Resolution has been officially published and is now in effect.
