As previously reported, the head of state decided to postpone the date of tariff increase for the population in the housing and communal services sector from January 1 to March 1 of this year in order to prevent a significant increase in financial burden for citizens for HCS payments. The government made a corresponding proposal to the head of state, and the President supported it.

From March 1, 2026, prices (tariffs) will increase, based on the approaches adopted when distributing the payment increase for a typical apartment in the amount of 22.5 Belarusian rubles (or 0.5 basic units) among all HCS (within the parameters defined by the Decree of the President of January 23, 2026 No. 33 "On establishing tariffs for the population in the housing and communal services sector for 2026").

Gas prices will increase by 7.07% (increase in payment due to tariff growth for this service - 0.93 Belarusian rubles).

Electricity tariffs will increase by 7% (increase in payment - 2.99 Belarusian rubles).

Thermal energy tariffs will increase from June 1, 2026, by 7.3% (increase in payment - 3.12 Belarusian rubles, including for heating - 2.6 Belarusian rubles, for hot water supply - 0.53 Belarusian rubles).

The cost increase for one cylinder of liquefied gas is 1.7 Belarusian rubles.
