Beshenkovichi Commemorates Defenders of the Fatherland
The Beshenkovichi region pays tribute and gratitude to those who bravely defended their native land from invaders during the war, and who carry out difficult and responsible service to protect the Fatherland in peacetime.
Yesterday afternoon, grateful descendants gathered at the mass grave of Soviet soldiers and partisans on Internatsionalnaya Street to lay flowers and wreaths at the monument of military glory, and to honor with a minute of silence the memory of soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Galina Unukovich, and the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, Alexander Erashov.
We bow our heads to the courage of those who defended the peaceful sky above us.
