Passports were solemnly presented to schoolchildren in Beshenkovichi

On March 14, a solemn ceremony of presenting passports of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus was held at the Beshenkovichi Regional Cultural Center.

The event was held as part of the nationwide campaign "We are citizens of Belarus!". The main heroes of the event were 80 young men and women from all corners of the Beshenkovichi region.

The attendees were warmly congratulated on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus by the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies, Gennady Shvedov.

As a memento of the event, the young people received a gift edition from President Alexander Lukashenko, "I am a Citizen of the Republic of Belarus!", and the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

The young men and women, who received their main document in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, took an oath of allegiance to the Republic of Belarus.

They pledged to strengthen the authority and good name of our country through their studies, work, and deeds, to be worthy of the memory of those who gave their lives for the honor and independence of our Motherland, to always follow the Basic Law of the country – the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, and to be true masters of their land.

Musical performances created a festive mood in the hall.
