A meeting of the district executive committee was held in Beshenkovichi with the participation of the representative of the Vitebsk Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gavrilenko Andrey Vladimirovich.

The meeting reviewed the compliance of economic entities of the district with the requirements of Directive No. 1 of the President of the Republic of Belarus of March 11, 2004 "On measures to strengthen public safety and discipline". The first to speak was the head of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, Golets Vitaly Valerievich, who dwelled in detail on cases of deaths in fires that occurred in the district, shortcomings identified in the work of inspection commissions and the work of prevention entities.

         Andrei Vladimirovich also pointed to the insufficient work of the inspection commissions, noting shortcomings in the work of individual prevention entities and the need to intensify efforts aimed at ensuring fire safety in citizens' households.

The representative of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted: "Addressing all prevention entities, I would like to emphasize that we are all doing a common cause and only together can we achieve the necessary results. Our citizens, our people are the most valuable resource of our country, and we must protect them. Therefore, it is necessary to continue high-quality preventive work with the population, primarily with categorized citizens - these are large families, families in difficult life situations,

lonely elderly citizens, disabled persons, WWII veterans.
