A house caught fire in the Beshenkovichi district: two men were hospitalized, one died
On January 17, at 19:27, the rescue service received a report of a fire in a house on Pervomayskaya Street in the agro-town of Ulla, Beshenkovichi District.
Upon arrival at the scene, the emergency services observed heavy smoke inside the house. The house is a duplex, with one apartment being uninhabited. The owner of apartment No. 1, born in 1960, lived with her husband, born in 1955, and son, born in 1980. At the time of the fire, the homeowners were not present, as they were visiting guests, and the owner's son had gone to the store.
When the fire broke out, two men, born in 1968 and 1983 – friends of the owner's son who had come to visit – were inside the house.
During the reconnaissance and firefighting operations, emergency workers discovered a man born in 1968 on the floor in a room. He was removed from the smoke-filled area and, after examination by an ambulance crew, was hospitalized with a diagnosis of smoke inhalation. The second man, born in 1983, was also found on the floor in the same room and carried outside. After examination by an ambulance crew and resuscitation efforts, his death was pronounced.
While attempting to extinguish the fire himself, the owner's son sustained burns to his face and hands and was hospitalized.
