Remains of genocide victims reburied in Beshenkovichi district

30.11.2022 in the agro-town of Ulla, the remains of civilians from the villages of Sloboda and Bortniki, shot by Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War, were reburied.

"We have not forgotten what the fascists and their accomplices did during the war, and we want to remind those who are currently trying to distort history, to replace it with non-existent fabrications about the role of our people in the Victory in the Great Patriotic War...", noted Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Khmaruk in his opening speech.

The mournful event was also attended by Vladimir Terentyev, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Anatoly Linevich, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for Vitebsk Region, leadership of the regional and district prosecutor's offices, representatives of district authorities, labor collectives, public organizations, clergy, and youth.
