The results of work for 2022 have been summarized in the Beshenkovichi district
An operational meeting was held today at the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, where the unit's performance for the past year was summarized. The officers present were led by Sergey Markevich, Deputy Head of the "Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations".
The MES units are not only rescuers who directly extinguish fires and save people, but also include supervisory work, regulatory and technical services, ideological service, combat readiness, and fire prevention and propaganda. Sergey Nikolaevich heard reports from the respective deputy heads of the department on all areas of activity and assessed the work carried out throughout the year.
– In general, it should be noted that in 2022, there was a decrease in the number of fires and fatalities in the Beshenkovichi district, which indicates that the work being done is effective and the population is listening to the rescuers. However, we should not relax, as fires still occur, – noted Sergey Markevich.
Furthermore, Sergey Nikolaevich not only pointed out the existing shortcomings in the unit's work but also suggested specific ways to resolve them.
– We should not let problems take their course; if any problematic issues arise within the team, whether they are work-related matters or personal difficulties, every employee must know that they will be supported and helped to find a way out of the current situation. After all, only with full cooperation and mutual understanding will the emergency response department function with the greatest productivity and benefit to society! – the representative of the regional administration reminded once again.
At the end of the meeting, tasks and priority areas for official activities for the current year were defined.
