A session of the Council of Deputies was held in the Beshenkovichi district to summarize the work of inspection commissions for 2019.

The issue of the state of work to ensure the safe life of the population of the Beshenkovichi district and the measures taken by interested services in conjunction with local authorities and public territorial self-government bodies to form a culture of life safety in society was considered.

The report was first delivered by the head of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, Zhuk Viktor Anatolyevich, who noted that there are a number of shortcomings in the work of the inspection commissions, which are systematically identified, indicating that work in these areas is not being carried out. As a consequence, five citizens of the Beshenkovichi district died in 2019.

However, along with all the shortcomings, there are also positive aspects. Thus, compared to 2018, there has been a decrease in the number of fires in the district, an algorithm for conducting joint raids has been developed, and the main problematic issues have been identified.
