In the Beshenkovichi district, a control monitoring of the dormitory of the state educational institution "Secondary School No. 2 of the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi" was carried out.

On March 24, 2020, in accordance with the "Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting Monitoring," approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 510 of October 16, 2009, "On Improving Control (Supervisory) Activities in the Republic of Belarus," a control monitoring of the fire safety status was carried out at the facility: "Dormitory" of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 2 of urban-type settlement Beshenkovichi."

On March 24, 2020, in accordance with the "Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting Monitoring," approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 510 of October 16, 2009, "On Improving Control (Supervisory) Activities in the Republic of Belarus," by me, inspector of the inspection of supervision and prevention of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, Senior Lieutenant of the Internal Service Beresten Alexey Igorevich, a control monitoring of the fire safety status was carried out at the facility: "Dormitory" of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 2 of urban-type settlement Beshenkovichi" (urban-type settlement Beshenkovichi, Yesenin St., bld. 1) with the aim of controlling the elimination of violations identified as a result of a previously conducted monitoring.

During the monitoring, it was established that the following measures have been implemented:

- The possibility of free opening of locks (latches) of the doors of the stairwell evacuation exits on the 1st and 3rd floors from the inside without a key has been ensured, clause 48 of the General Fire Safety Requirements;

- Training under the fire-technical minimum program has been conducted for employees responsible for ensuring fire safety (watchmen, educators, and assistant educators on duty in the dormitory), clause 3.2 of the General Fire Safety Requirements, Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus of 02.05.2018 No. 30 "On Approval of Fire-Technical Minimum Programs."

The following measures remain unfulfilled:

- doors separating the stairwell from the corridor on the 3rd floor and doors dividing the corridor on the 3rd floor

compartments are equipped with self-closing devices (springs), however, these devices do not ensure tight closing of the doors. At the same time, the aforementioned doors are not equipped with seals in the rebates that ensure smoke tightness, (clause 49 of the "General Requirements for Fire Safety and Operation of Buildings (Structures and Facilities), Isolated Premises and Other Facilities Owned by Business Entities" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of November 23, 2017 (hereinafter - General Requirements for Fire Safety));

- employees of the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 2 of the urban-type settlement of Beshenkovichi", involved in the implementation of the fire evacuation plan for people and the dormitory building, are not provided with filtering self-rescuers (clause 5.1 of TKP 475-2013 "Application of Personal Protective Equipment for Respiratory and Vision Organs Necessary for Evacuation of People in Case of Fire") (the measure is of a recommendatory nature);

The Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
