In the Beshenkovichi district, a monitoring of the State Educational Institution "Bocheikovskaya Secondary School of the Beshenkovichi District" was carried out.

The Sector of Supervision and Prevention of the Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations, with the aim of ensuring fire safety, conducted a monitoring of the educational institution "Bocheikovskaya Secondary School of the Beshenkovichi District" located at: Beshenkovichi District, Bocheikovo village, Zarechnaya Street, 126a.

During the work carried out, the following issues were studied:

compliance by the head, officials, and employees with their duties in the field of fire safety;

availability of fire safety instructions, compliance with established requirements for their development and content;

compliance with general fire safety requirements at the facility;

compliance with building maintenance requirements;

compliance with technological process organization requirements;

compliance with requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire;

compliance with requirements for the maintenance and determination of the quantity of primary fire extinguishing means and fire water supply systems;

compliance with requirements for fire safety briefings and verification of employees' fire safety knowledge,

compliance with specific fire safety requirements for facilities specifically designed for children, as well as facilities with simultaneous presence of over 300 people, social and healthcare facilities with round-the-clock accommodation of people.

Based on the results of the monitoring, violations of fire safety requirements were identified that do not pose a threat to national security, harm to the life and health of the population, or the environment, namely:

-locks on doors located on evacuation routes (exit from the sports hall to the street, exit from the canteen to the street) do not allow them to be opened freely from the inside without a key (clause 48 of general requirements);

- electrical equipment in school premises is operated not in accordance with their operating documentation, connection via extension cords is permitted: refrigerators in the canteen, computers in the library and the workshop (para. 9 of general requirements);

The reasons and conditions contributing to the commission of the indicated violations were the insufficient knowledge of the enterprise head of the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of fire safety, and a formal attitude towards the performance of their direct official duties.

The head has been issued recommendations for the elimination of violations identified during the monitoring.

The Beshenkovichi District Department for Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Art. 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations in their respective organizations.
